Subsurface 2024 — Major Data Lakehouse Announcements

Another exciting Subsurface Live! event has concluded, affirming its status as the premier Data Lakehouse conference in the industry.

This year featured several significant announcements, including a partnership between Vast and Dremio to create the first ZeroTrust data platform. Another highlight was the collaboration between STACKIT and Dremio to develop a premium Sovereign AI and Data platform for Europe. These announcements were the focal points of the Keynote, which also showcased numerous Dremio innovations aimed at enhancing stability and performance.

Additionally, Dremio demonstrated its platform capabilities, highlighting its “git for data” catalog versioning features and its dbt integration, which enhance replicability, observability, and data validation, thus improving data quality in a user-friendly manner.
